For those training for the Marin Half, the mileage this week is 6 miles for the novice program and 8 miles for the intermediate program. We’ll also have a 10-miler and a 14-miler for those training for spring marathons.
Special invitation to those looking for an alternative to running for the next few weeks: your club president (me!) will be doing a vigorous 1-2 hour walk during the Saturday runs, and I would welcome the company of anyone who wants to get in a good walk: runners looking to get back into the swing, your friends, your family, even your dog!
You may ask why – I broke my clavicle (again) and will undergo surgery to fix it properly on Monday. So I can walk but I shouldn’t run for a couple of weeks. Power walk!
