See below about volunteering at the Presidio YMCA Trail Run.

"I’m working with the Presidio YMCA to produce the 5th annual Presidio YMCA Trail Run on Sunday April 30. I wanted to reach out and see if your club members would be available for and interested in volunteering at the event.

Volunteering is a lot fun; you get to be out on the beautiful Presidio trails early in the morning, helping hundreds of runners complete a challenging run.

The Presidio YMCA’s mission is to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities by enriching the lives of all people in spirit, mind and body. The Presidio Trail Run achieves this mission directly by getting almost 1000 runners on the trails of the Presidio, including almost 100 children, and also raises funds to support the YMCA’s programs.

Your volunteers will be in teams of 5-10 and will act as course monitors, or work at water stops, or help at the finish festival. Each team will be led by a YMCA staff member. We need up to 40 volunteers.

The event date is Sunday, April 30. Report time is 6:45 am, and end time is 10-11 am depending on the position. Volunteers report to The Presidio YMCA at 63 Funston Ave, San Francisco, CA 94129.
