Join us for our weekly long run 8:00 am Saturday, July 24th at Precita Park Cafe.
Patrick has outdone himself once again with this week’s route.
We’re turning it up to 10 this week. 10 miles, 10 hundred feet of elevation gain. It’s the chicken nugget route. We will be running counter-clockwise and start by making our way north up Dolores St. and making a left on 15th Street. We will wind our way over to 7th Avenue and run around Laguna Honda. That will be the peak of the run and we will begin our descent back along Diamond Heights Blvd, then take Bosworth and Mission St back to the finish.
Total Distance is 10.35mi (16.7km) with 1,069ft (325m) total elevation gain.
For those of us looking for a bit of gentler experience, a couple of us in recovery from various injuries and ailments will heading out at the same time for a bracing walk/run, looking to cover 4-6 miles.
