Join us for our weekly long run and Christmas celebration 8:00 am Saturday, December 5 at Spark Social, located on 4th Street and Mission Bay Blvd. Spark Social is a collection of food trucks on a block in the UCSF Mission Bay neighborhood. We’ll meet out front on 4th.

After our run, we’ll hold a socially distant Christmas celebration outside, in the area behind Spark. The facility is open and has picnic tables and an astroturf lawn with plenty of space. We will not be sharing food, sadly, but the coffee truck is open for business at 8:00 and some of the other trucks will open later. We can get our own refreshments and celebrate the club and the year that was. And what a year.

Patrick has designed a 7 mile route for us that we’ll start at 8:00. I imagine we will be back to Spark by 9:30, for those who might want to drop by for a Christmas greeting but don’t want to run.

The only caveat I must make is that while the City has not yet imposed the looming stricter SIP rules, there is a possibility that the run is subject to cancellation depending on changes to the Public Health Order. I will check back this evening and issue a notice if required.
