Join us for our weekly long run 8:00 am Saturday, October 17 at the Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park.
It’s expected to be warm tomorrow, but the heat wave is actually peaking today. My highly reliable (ha!) weather app says a high of 84 today (Friday) but down to 75 tomorrow, and temps in the high 60s for the morning.
We’ll stay in the shade Golden Gate Park, with lots of water stops to stay hydrated. Next week, we’ll tackle the third and final leg of the Crosstown Trail, from GG Park up Park Presidio to China Beach, Seacliff and Land’s End.
Member Patrick has designed a new "Criss Crosstown Trail" for us to tackle, starts in the southwest corner of the city (Fort Funston) and finishes on Pier 39. We’ll start on that trail, again tackling it in legs, in the coming weeks. Thanks, Patrick!
