Join us for a spectacular run across the Bay Bridge, this Saturday, July 20!
Yes, you can now run from Oakland to Treasure Island on the Bay Bridge. The path has been under development for several years, and it is now complete. We have run it part way in the past, but now we can run the entire eastern span of the Bridge.
We will meet at 8:00 am at Esprit Park in San Francisco, jog to the Embarcadero BART, and then take the train to the Ashby Station in Berkeley. We then run to and over the Bay Bridge on a wide, protected path, finishing on Treasure Island at the waterfront Mersea Restaurant. The run over the Bridge from Ashby Station is approximately 8 miles, the jog to the Embarcadero Station from Esprit Park is about 2 miles.
Stick around for coffee, breakfast/lunch at Mersea, and then we’ll hop on the Muni #25 bus back to SF and the Transbay terminal.
An urban adventure with your running friends! Spectacular route and views!
