Join us for our weekly long run 8:00 am Saturday, May 19 at Esprit Park. Once more along the Embarcadero, as it’s a great time of year to be running this scenic route. BONUS – there’s a new coffee shop called Noon where we meet, at the corner of 19th and Indiana!
For those training for the SF marathon, training schedule calls for 10 miles, but with 6 miles at your goal marathon pace. 2 miles to warm up, 6 miles at goal pace, 2 miles to cool down.
For those aiming for the SF Half, we’re 10 weeks out. Novice or first timers should be building toward double-digit long runs, 7 or 8 miles. Intermediate runners should be at 10, building toward the first of three long runs scheduled for 7, 5 and 3 weeks out.
For anyone looking for a delightful run along the waterfront, we have 6, 8 and 10.
