Head east on MLK Drive then continue on Kezar Dr. Head east through the panhandle, then turn left on Lyon St. Turn right on Turk Blvd, then turn left on Divisadero St. Turn left on Clay St. then turn left on Arguello Blvd. Turn right on Lake St. Turn left on 25th Ave. Turn right on Fulton Trail as you enter Golden Gate Park and continue until you reach Chain of Lakes Dr. Turn left at Chain of Lakes Dr. Then turn left on JFK Dr. Turn right at the trail (before de Young Museum) behind the Japanese Tea Garden, then turn left on MLK Dr. to the finish.

Continue all the way to Hyde St. then head back in the opposite direction along Embarcadero St. Make a left on 3rd Street, then turn right on 22nd St. and continue to the finish

2023 Half Full Running Club Holiday Party – Saturday, December 9 at 9:00 am!

Greetings HFRC members, friends, alumni, and fellow runners!

Please come to the HFRC 2023 Holiday Party on Saturday, December 9.

Location: Jay’s house out in the Sunset in San Francisco. Please contact Jay if you need details like an address.

Time: Keeping with tradition, we’ll do a short run at 9:00, followed by a party at 10:00. There will be a contingent of us walking rather than running, too. If you don’t want to walk or run, just arrive around 10:00. I know, we usually start our runs at 8:00, but this is Christmas, so we’re giving everyone an extra hour that morning!

We’ll provide coffee, juice, champagne, sparkling water, and BACON!

So what to bring: yummy things to share with your fellow runners, like bagels, pastries, fruit salad, other delectable items, don’t limit yourself to breakfast foods.

We have special guests this year: Greg Rosenberg and his lovely wife Leah! Greg was my coach at the old SF Marathon Running Club, and he is the founder of the Half Full Running Club! Greg has been an inspiration to me, as a runner, a coach, a club president, and as a friend. I started my second running career in 2009, and thanks to Greg’s influence, I"ve run 8 more marathons, dozens of half marathons, and countless miles with the support of the club he founded. When he moved back to Minnesota, Greg entrusted me and Penny with keeping the HFRC alive, and we are thrilled to have him join us.

We always love to see our extended running family, so feel free to bring your family and friends, and we invite all past members to come see us again, we will always have a place in our heart and at our gatherings for you!
