Join us for our weekly long run 8:00 am Saturday, November 5 at Sports Basement Potrero Hill, on Bryant Street. We might inside the store, look for the sign.
For those running the Berkeley Half, we’re two weeks out, and tapering for the race. So we have 8-10 miles on the training schedule. We’ll also have a 6-miler on tap, and of course the ability to go shorter for those looking for less miles.
For those running early spring marathons, like Tokyo (16 weeks) and Napa (17 weeks), it’s time to focus in on the 18-week training program. At this point, we’re building miles, and should be at 10-12 for the long run.
We have refined and tightened our 18 week marathon program, and it’s available for all club members. We’ll post it for members and send a link. Or send Jay or Penny an email and we’ll get it to you.
